Meet Rocket Power Dancer Ann

Rocket Power Dancer AnnAnn been an NFL cheerleader in Houston for two seasons. After her final season when Houston hosted the Super Bowl she thought it was a good way to end her professional dance career.

But one year later she found herself always watching the dancers and wishing she was out there dancing again! She went to the RPD audition and made the Power Dancers last season.

Being an RPD gives me the chance to be a positive role model in our community, especially when we have different appearances in Houston to reach out.

Interesting Fact: Ann was born in the Philippines and grew up with her grandparents. She moved to the U.S. when she was 10 years old.

You can read more about Ann here.

Meet Rocket Power Dancer Co-Captain Carrie B.

Rocket Power Dancer Co-Captain Carrie B Carrie is in her second year as a Rocket Power Dancer and she is part of the dunk team. She recently graduated from the University of Houston with International Business degree.

“I have been a Rockets fan my entire life. I can remember watching the 1994-1995 championships and going to the games as a little girl. I remember being so mesmerized by the dancers and watching their every move. The energy and excitement that the dancers had on the court inspired me to keep dancing and one day tryout for the team.

Carrie likes to workout and do turbo-kickboxing classes. She loves to go to the movies, spend time with family and friends.

Interesting fact: She is the tallest member on the team at 5-foot-10 left-handed!
